This is the final and third year of our sponsored ride from Lands End to John O’Groats.
We promised the Happy Home three years of funding and this ride will God willing contribute a large share of the £15,000 we are looking to raise this year. The Happy Home is doing well giving poor and vulnerable children and young adults a hope and a future and they have started to plan for the longer term too.
This year we will be tandeming from Inverness to John O’Groats along some of the remotest parts of Scotland, over the UK’s longest and highest mountain pass, and battling the worlds fiercest and smallest animals (the mighty midge). We are getting ready to go - the bike chain has been oiled, the tent has been tested, the thighs have been exercised, the bottoms have been conditioned and the waterproofs re-waterproofed
All we need now is 550 miles of encouragement and support - and that is where you come in. Prayers donations and warm words are not just welcome but are very very necessary.
