Why We Exist
The needs that the Nepal Development Association is set up to address are:

The need to provide safe housing and sustainable livelihoods to poor and marginalised people in and around Pokhara and meet the needs of children who are unwanted, neglected and at risk.

To provide an education for children.

​The need to help young people to live independently with a sustainable livelihood.

The need to help people who are training as nurses and community workers with a view to working with internally displaced people in Nepal and others in need.
We meet these needs by making grants.

The Happy Home Hostel in Pokhara provides a safe home and a good education for children from disadvantaged backgrounds who are at neglected and are at risk.
