Had we camped last night we might have been swept away as when we cycled past our planned. spot this morning it was under water as the river had risen abouf a metre from the overnight rain.
It dawned misty but it soon brightened up and we set off for our hilliest day early to meet with Susan’s brother Kerr and sister in law Karen who Tandemed with us from Kenmore on Loch Tay to Trinafour. A real treat for us!!
Today was what we were hoping for - lovely views and the hills negotiated steadily and without problem. 44 miles and 4000 feet up today and we averaged just over 10mph.
Tonight will be our first wild camping and we think that we have found an ideal spot by the river Garry. We are at least 2 metres above the water with our own private beach and bath area. Should be fun!! The wee timorous beasties (not haggis but mIdges) are out hunting though.

Looking forward to hearing how the wild camping went. Love that there were tandem tandems and a river called Garry! The views look stunning, but they would at 4000 feet!! You are truly amazing!
