The wise man built his house on a rock; the foolish cyclists pitched their tent in the rain in the wilds; the clever tandemers spotted a B&B in a remote farmhouse further along the track! What a relief!!
We enjoyed the company of residents and visitors to Strathclyde House for a coffee morning who encouraged us greatly! We shared and prayed for the hostel in Nepal. The Clyde kitchen was great!!
The cycling was good - averaging just over 10mph and mostly uphill. Maybe it’s because it was a bit grey and rather than stopping we just noted “it would be beautiful in the sun“ As we powered along Gareloch, Loch Long (it is), Loch Lomond and few other tiddlers besides.
Monster day tomorrow- lots of long and steep hills. Weather forecast is fair and we will start dry!!
Thanks for your encouragement and support
Susan and Stephen
PS Susan nearly sacked Stephen as the pilot this morning!
