Day 5 Culzean to Largs

Up early after a wet night we enjoyed a chilly but bright start and headed off under a patchy blue sky.

Anyone heard of the “Electric Brae?” Me neither until Susan planned a route over it - it’s a hill that looks steeply uphill, but if you roll - you roll forward! Wierd! Lots of cars just stop to see what happens when they take the brake off!!

A good days cycling by the coast with views over to Arran. The legs are doing well but general living and camping is tiring - yawns were heard from the back seat several times today!

Lovely welcome from mum and a bed to look forward to!! Rain forecast for tomorrow!!

Thanks for all your messages and encouragements.

also called a gravity hill . Apparently your looking at an optical illusion. It looks fun though 50 miles is still some distance

be safe 🙏🙏
